Walker Zanger and Oceanside Glasstile Adorn Golden 1 Boardroom
David B. Lee, Sacramento Kings, Interiors & Design
For the private meeting room, the designer David B Lee, chose a combination of Walker Zanger patterns from the Sterling Row collection, Chesterfield in Linen for an eye-catching accent wall and Tuxedo in Charcoal in a chevron pattern for the flooring. Both tiles are a marble and ceramic wood pattern that provide a delicate balance of class and warmth. The patterns are inspired by fine European fabrics. The private space has a stately feel to it, with a balance of luxury provided by chandeliers and wall sconces with the furnishings offering a refined mid-century modern flare. Nonetheless, there are also plenty of screens to keep track of the game. In the spacious lounge, you’ll find the private bar. Behind the bar, Lee opted for a striking use of Oceanside Glasstile Tessera Collection tile in Sultry. The Kaleidoscope pattern makes for an amazing spectacle. There is no doubt that the Oceanside Glasstile commitment to sustainable materials was attractive, as Golden1 Center earned a Platinum LEED rating from the USGBC – the first indoor sports venue to do so.
