Pantone, the brand known for their authority on color, recently released their highly anticipated 2016 Color of the Year. And, in an unprecedented move, they have chosen a blend of two colors!
Rose Quartz and Serenity provide a soothing, balanced blend of warmth and tranquility. Pantone describes the color combination as “reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.” They go on to say that this unexpected pairing “challenges traditional perceptions of color association.” No longer is pink solely a feminine color and blue solely a masculine color. This just goes to show you that there are no limits on the ways you can use color to express your individuality!
Rose Quartz and Serenity, used together or separately, would be a perfect choice for your next stone or tile project in the bathroom, the kitchen or any other room in your home that you want to radiate comfort and calm. These subtle tones can be used as unexpected neutrals for a fresh, modern look.

On its own, Rose Quartz emits a warm, inviting glow that is a perfect counterpart to white and natural wood accents.

Serenity offers a cool, crispness that goes well with a wide range of accent colors. Any space you feature it in will immediately feel fresher and airier.
